Until April 2007 Energis Squared provided a secondary DNS server, hosting outside .ox.ac.uk for stanley, and handled secondary MX.
]]Black Cat used to provide web hosting and domain names to small users. They sponsored our termcard on several occasions, provided secondary DNS for us, and used to provide our primary DNS server.
]]WDR became involved with the society in 1998. They attended a few talks as guests, presented their own talk on "Big Brother" and subsequently donated a substantial amount of equipment to the society. ]]In late 2002 IMM donated Compsoc a Compaq Proliant server and RAID array.
]]Mondus made a substantial cash donation of £500. This was used in the celebrations of Compsoc's twenty first anniversary in 2000 as well as to cover general running expenses.
]]Daffy, which was our main server for a long time, was donated by Progress Computer Systems in 1995.
]]In Hilary 2005 the Department of Astrophysics in Oxford donated a server to Compsoc.
]]In a clear-out of parts, the Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic and Planetary Physics allowed a group of mad Compsoc members to pillage a room of old computer equipment. In the two car loads removed there are a lot of parts which might have got into use by our members if not the Society.
