An important settlement in the Principality of Shabak, the city of Tempest is here described by Hugh Eldred-Grigg.

The largest city in Western Shabak, Tempest - which has earned its name from the storms which often lash it - Tempest is largely a trading port which slumps along the coast. It is famous for corrupt Electors and is regarded with disdain by many other Shabaki as provincial and backward.
