An important settlement in the Principality of Shabak, the city of Zhenir is here described by Hugh Eldred-Grigg.

This small city is Shabak's Western Outpost against the raiders and marauders of the Great Western Plains. Zhenir is an odd city - it was built out of the ruins of a large ruined city of unknown origin, the ancient architecture blending with modern Shabaki construction. Zhenir is rumoured to have large areas of unexplored ruin and even more extensive catacombs beneath it, and is a popular destination for adventurers.
