Fre-delric II, son of Fre-delric I. A small, slim man with coal-black hair, dark brown skin, and black eyes, he is often derided by foreign diplomats, especially from Gallantaria and Brice. They will find that they have crossed the wrong man, for Fre-delric is a powerful paladin, who is skilled with sword, axe, spear and several forms of martial arts. Even without the Crown of Kings, he has been a very good monarch, and under his reign, Femphrey has been extremely stable and content, as well as the most prosperous nation in the Old World.
Fre-delric is a widower with nine children-three sons and six daughters, all of great beauty. The heir to the throne, Aman-darra, could soon join Queen Ahleesia of Analand as a female monarch in a masculine continent. She is very beautiful, and already sovereigns from other states are trying to woo her and possibly cement the position of their own kingdom with the powerful Femphrey.
In person, Fre-delric is an open and affable fellow who has shown his ability on the battlefield and in the court as a ruler. Femphrey is at its strongest point in years, with the citizens extremely wealthy and even the most common man very full in the stomach. This prosperity has caused great resentment among other nations, especially in Lendleland to the south. Evil cults and groups are also rumored to have begun plots against our kingdom. Strangely, the church of Ariella the sun goddess has begun acting very political and belligerent, with many of its priests being elected to Chalanna's Courts. They cry for Fre-delric to step down and for a priest to take the throne. The citizens would never accept this, but the priests do not seem to care. How they got elected is a mystery, but I am beginning to suspect they have not used ethical means to do so. How Fre-delric handles these problems will be the greatest test of his reign.
