Adessios Ryogax is the Kha-Khan ruler of Lendleland, a large, powerful man with a waxed mustache, dark skin, and slightly slanted brown eyes. He has a loud voice and a booming, blustering manner, which is never without his full suit of armor and ring of magical protections against numerous forms of attack. His overbearing manner has caused more than one foreign diplomat to return to his own nation in disgust. With a short temper and loud, bellowing voice, he is every inch the bully to those he does not respect.
With 101 children from 18 wives, Lendleland is in no shortage of heirs for the throne. The 21 year old Mebot is thought to be Adessios's heir. He is quieter and less overbearing than his father, and he could make a better ruler than the fool his father has been.
While he has repressed peasant rebellions, maintained good relations with the horse-nomads, and in general maintained the status quo in Lendleland, Ryogax has been a poor ruler otherwise. His relations with other nations are mediocre at best, and he dislikes Queen Ahleesia of Analand intensely, for he sees women as his inferior, and doesn't quite know what to make of her similarly fiery and blustery manner. The economy continues to falter under Adessios, peasant rebellions are worse than ever, and some ilkhans secretly plot to depose the Ryogax line and seize power for themselves. Civil war is possible. How this would affect Lendleland in the aftermath of such a conflict is anyone's guess.
