Rogar

The Roaring Lord, Hand of Telak, Lord Priest of the Church of the Swordbearer, Hetman of the Ruddlemen, Rogaar, Priest-King of Ruddlestone:

This man is huge, powerful, strong, and fiercely overbearing, much like the lions he is associated with. Never seen without a gigantic two-handed sword, he is a terrible foeman in combat, and has been a rallying point for the nation all through his powerful reign. Respected and even feared by foreign diplomats and even lesser priests in the church of Telak, his stern, growling gaze offers little sympathy to whiners or wretches who do not live up to his standards.

King Rogar has no children, considering the priests of Telak, and by extension the citizens of Ruddlestone as his children. He has been a mighty ruler through the past seventeen years, but his golden mane is now turning to silver, and he has made a hundred enemies during his long, fiery reign. When he dies, it will not be peacefully in bed.

Maintaining Ruddlestone's trade and agriculture have been the highlights of Rogaar's reign. He has so far staved off war with Brice, but absolutely hates Regent Tinardo of Brice. The warriors of the Demonkeep Outpost are straining at the leash, and they might ignite the Third Ruddlestone War even before Brice. It is not unlikely that Rogaar would go ahead and support it, to smite his long-hated rival to the west.
