The Archmage

The foul wizard, who once lived in Mampang and created the Seven Serpents, stole the Crown of Kings, and attempted to create a seventh kingdom with the help of the Crown is now presumably dead. He was described as a man with pasty white skin and a flowing shock of green hair, but he had a remarkable ability to possess other bodies. He is thought to have been slain by the Analander those years ago when the latter infiltrated Mampang, but disquieting rumors have come down from adventurers who have returned from Xamen and Khare to the civilized kingdoms. The Archmage was apparently a worshipper of Sith, the Snake Demon, during his reign in Mampang, and horrible rumors have abounded about their relationship. Some say that the Archmage had a son who he kept hidden even from his closest generals and advisors. The peoples of Xamen have complained of a resurgence in attacks from that most foul of citadels - orcs, goblins, craggeracks and other chaotics have begun raiding in earnest again. Could a new Archmage have taken over the dark throne inherited from his father? If so, what are his plans? This could prove most disastrous for the Old World unless competent adventurers can investigate.
