The Shrine of Hamaskis.Tannatown |  ![]() |
The High Priest would like to thank Jared Milne for making available to us the following description of Tannatown in Femphrey from the Cyclopaedia of the Old World by Sir Jarvis of St. Wymerios University, Crystal City.
Tanna is the Femphreyan word for learning. This certainly fits the name well, as it is home to one of the greatest centers of learning on the continent, even greater than the universities in Chalannabrad. This town is divided into two districts-one with all the normal trappings of a city similar to Chalannabrad, but the other is reserved for wizards, scholars and students. A massive magical academy is found here, where some of the Old World's greatest sorcerers have trained. People from every nation study here in the quest for knowledge and wisdom. The royal libraries here are thought to be the greatest in the Old World, and possibly even the entire world of Titan. Everything from accounting to zoology is covered by the tomes here, with books and scrolls that line literally every wall in the place.
