The High Priest would like to thank Jared Milne for making available to us the following description of Weirtown in Gallantaria from the Cyclopaedia of the Old World by Sir Jarvis of St. Wymerios University, Crystal City.

Gallantaria's Capital in the East

This town is a major trading post between the farmers of eastern Gallantaria and all the people of the eastern plains. It must be said that Weirtown has a massive number of empty buildings and homes, which are used to house the people of the eastern plains in the case of invasion from Mauristatia or Brice. Thus, it has vast reserves of grain and cisterns have been dug for fresh water from the River Weir. In peacetime, it is a very prosperous fishing town, as the River Weir offers much in the way of fishing bounty - everything from salmon to pike to trout.
