Fry up some cinnamon and cardamom pods in some oil.[1] Add to this whatever you like; suggestions include any or all of: Peppers Onions Carrot Mushrooms Aubergines Prawns Cashew Nuts Cheese You get the idea. Fry for a few moments, then add a cup of rice and enough water to cover the whole lot. Cover the pan and boil until all the water has been absorbed. Serve.
